Our Story
CaseMedix is the brainchild of Attorney Craig Perry, who has been practicing law for over 35 years. His law career began working as a defense attorney for insurance companies but later, he switched to representing only accident victims. CaseMedix was born of a need to help doctors get paid amidst a growing trend of injured parties who did not want to hire attorneys. As early as 1997, doctors expressed frustration with turning patients away who did not, for whatever reason, want to hire legal counsel. Practitioners who tried to get payment directly from auto insurance companies for unrepped patients proved difficult, if not impossible. After watching one of his former clients (who was medical provider) spend six figures in a lawsuit to enforce direct insurance payments—only to get back half of what was spent in attorneys' fees—he decided it was time to try and do something about it.
After months of research and analysis, he came up with a bulletproof system to ensure direct payments to providers on unrepped patients' cases from the at-fault party's insurance companies like State Farm, GEICO, Allstate, and Farmers. He began to offer this program to local medical providers, with a promise to sue those companies who would not pay—which he did and won. Enrollment in these services rapidly expanded as the system proved to work, growing mainly by word of mouth. As the demands for assistance increased and requests for other types of enforcement and assistance grew, a new company was born: CaseMedix.
In response to the growing demand for medical lien management, CaseMedix is poised to roll out another unique solution: a customized, online portal where medical providers can immediately transfer their medical liens requiring enforcement, thereby reducing overhead, improving case tracking, and ensuring prompt payment for settled cases—to name a few benefits.
Today, CaseMedix assists medical practices nationwide to secure payment sources for services rendered.
